5 days Big5 & Nile Exploration Uganda Safari

Day 1. Entebbe.
Arrival and pick up from the Airport to your accommodation for the night.

Day 2. Murchison Falls National Park (Kabalega Falls National Park).
Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. At Ziwa we shall arrive midday. Then head out for 2 hours Rhino Bush Walk. Only place in Uganda where you can find the White Rhinos in the Wild after they went extinct in the early 1990s.
Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the top of the Falls.

Day 3. Murchison Falls National Park.
Embark on a very early morning game drive in the national park. This is one of the best places in Uganda to see lions.
An afternoon launch cruise to view the falls from the bottom, on the Nile. This is the world’s most powerful waterfall. An endless roar whereby the whole Nile is forced through a 7m wide gorge and falls 60m below where it eventually calms and flows into the Lake Albert.

Day 4. Murchison Falls National Park.
Wake up early in the morning for a cruise to the delta area of the park. This area is highly known for the elusive shoebill stork that frequents the marshes hunting for fish. This is also the point where the Nile pours into Lake Albert, and then again flows out forming the Albert Nile which flows all the way to Sudan joining the Blue Nile to flow to the Mediterranean Sea.
Evening game drive in the park.

Day 5. Flight
Wake up at leisure. Visit the ostrich firm to support and contribute to a community development project.
Later transfer to Entebbe for your outbound flight.
